The Legend of MONTE-CRISTO

In 1815, Edmond Dantès, a young captain, becomes the victim of a conspiracy and is unjustly imprisoned on the eve of his engagement to the beautiful Mercédès, in the dungeons of the Château d'If off the coast of Marseille. After fourteen years of captivity, he manages to escape and the adventure leads him to the hidden treasure of the island of Monte-Cristo. He embarks on a new life under the name of Count de Monte-Cristo. Having become rich and powerful but having lost the love of his life, Dantès is determined to satisfy his thirst for vengeance by making those who sent him to prison pay...

«The Legend of Monte-Cristo, the Musical» is a musical adaptation of the masterpiece by Alexandre Dumas and will be the event of the year 2026. With Gjon’s Tears in the role of Dantès and Philipinne Lavrey as Mercédès, and more than twenty people on stage, this show, directed by Serge Postigo, will thrill the audience through songs, choreography, and fabulous sets.
